Honey as diverse as nature

In contrast to mixed and processed honey, our varieties differ in texture and colour. Honey originating from nectar of blossoms is clear. With few exceptions, it tastes mild and delicate.

Dark honey is normally strong in taste and crystallizes very slowly or even not at all. It originates from the sap of leaves and conifer needles. Bees have no access to it by their own means, but if aphids and other insects feed on them, they drill holes through which the sap can be licked by the bees.
